A note on distances
In order to calculate distances between members we use the longitude and latitude of each member and apply some maths.
While this is normally fairly accurate, it should be noted that the earth is not a perfect sphere, and as such, the distance between members needs to be considered as approximate.
The distances are also calculating a direct route from point A to point B on the globe (an as the crow flies approach) and does not take into account the route you may have to actually travel which could add extra miles to the distance.
